About Kiss and Makeup

Beauty blog Kiss and Makeup is the place to go for product reviews, beauty news, backstage gossip and top tips on how to look and feel your best.

Covering everything from the hottest hairstyles to the newest developments in anti-ageing, the site is a one-stop shop for anyone interested in getting the most out of their beauty products.

Kiss and Makeup launched in 2006 and quickly gained a reputation for not only having its finger on the pulse when it comes to new products, but also for its behind-the-scenes gossip and events coverage from both sides of the Atlantic. With strong links to prestigious beauty brands, Kiss and Makeup goes further than your average consumer blog, providing insider information and breaking beauty news before anyone else.

Meet The Team

Steph Powell
Steph Powell - Editor

Having swiftly come to her senses after first applying to study law at university, Steph changed her applications at the last minute to journalism. Her first choice, the prestigious London College of Communication, snapped her up immediately.

As a student, Steph interned at the home of her favourite websites; Catwalk Queen and Kiss and Makeup. The day before graduation she landed a job as Editorial Assistant at The Nod - a website dedicated to the products and places loved by celebrities.

Upon leaving The Nod, Steph joined Aigua Media as editor of OSOBlog, where she brought us all the important celebrity news from Kate Middleton’s latest outfit to Paris Hilton’s latest mugshot.

Steph returned to Kiss and Makeup last November, just a year after graduating, impressively jumping from intern to editor in the same amount of time. Steph has also had her writing featured in Drapers, Women and Home and Closer Online, covered London Fashion Week backstage and interviewed Matthew Williamson, Alexa Chung, Orlando Bloom and many more.
