Meet The Team

The OSOYOU Team

Jess Markwood
Jess Markwood - Editorial Director

Jess began her fashion journey in Cornwall where she met an adorable little girl with an eye for style, who loved the pretty flowers she wore in her hair. The girl’s mother transpired to be Dawn Bebe, founder of OSOYOU.com. The two struck up a friendship which resulted in Dawn inviting Jess to complete an internship. Within a month Jess had moved to London, bought a whole new wardrobe and had a full time job as editorial assistant at OSOYOU.

Four years on, Jess is now Editorial Director for Aigua Media, overseeing all content across the entire group. Pipped as one to watch, she was listed in the 2010/2011 Online Fashion 100 alongside the likes of Sir Philip Green and Net-A-Porter’s Natalie Massenet.

Well known on the fashion retail circuit, Jess has spoken at events ranging from the Social Media Academy’s Journalism in a Social Media World to the Linkshare Symposium. She has worked on video campaigns for the likes of Miss Selfridge, my-wardrobe, Cocosa, London Fashion Weekend, Haagen Dazs, Lavazza and Children In Need.

Jess has featured in publications including Drapers, Vogue.com and Cosmopolitan and styled a shoot for the Sun’s Saturday magazine Buzz.
