The UK’s first dedicated shoe blog, Shoewawa brings a daily footwear fix to shoe-loving women everywhere.  From high street to high end, the site explores the modern obsession with shoes from all angles, taking in seasonal trends and sharing shopping secrets with its active and highly engaged audience.  Fun and light-hearted with a down-to-earth attitude, Shoewawa’s popular features include Ugly Shoe of the Week, Designer vs. high street and Shoe Tube.

Launched in 2004, Shoewawa has become an online authority on all levels of the footwear market, gaining coverage in titles including InStyle, Stylist, Marie Claire, How to Spend It, the Independent, New Media Age and many more. Commercial collaborations have included tie-ins with TK Maxx, Dune, Moda in Pelle, Redfoot, Evian, My Wardrobe, House of Fraser, Karen Millen and Liberty.

Abi started her blogging career before the term even existed, having had a taste for online writing while studying for a degree in Modern and Medieval Languages at Cambridge University. After graduation, she went on to work in print media, helping to launch an alternative fashion magazine as part of a team of two in 2004.

Abi then moved her focus to online titles, contributing to sites such as Hippyshopper, Bridalwave, Domestic Sluttery and Walletpop, as well as Shoewawa, Dollymix and many other Aigua titles. She has had work published in the Evening Standard, Cosmopolitan, Stylist and Elle, and has appeared on the BBC's Panorama.

Abi also has an interest in hyperlocal journalism and community-building, and has worked for Associated's Local People network and on special projects with reviews and social networking site Qype. She has also worked on various collaborations and guest-blogging stints with partners including TK Maxx, Shudoo, Brandalley, Haagen-Dazs and American Express.
