The Bag Lady is Aigua Media’s specialist handbags and accessories site, devoted to chronicling the finer details that complete a finished look. With a keen eye for current trends and a deep knowledge of design classics, The Bag Lady guides readers towards the perfect purchase – whether it’s a long-awaited investment piece or the season’s must-have impulse buy.

The Bag Lady was launched in 2005, catering to a gap in the market for blogs focusing on women’s accessories – including jewellery, small leather goods, laptop bags, purses, watches, umbrellas, sunglasses, hats and, of course, handbags. It offers a comprehensive and informed view on the world of accessories, with daily features including sale alerts, competitions and celebrity get-the-looks.

The Bag Lady been featured in various mainstream titles, including the Guardian Guide and Time Out.

Meet The Team

Emma Cossey - Editor

Emma is a shopaholic, so a career writing about fashion is something of a dream come true!

She's started out in her blogging career as an intern at The Nod and for spa website Wahanda. She then went on to be the editorial assistant for Miramus, writing and editing for sites like AOL's Parentdish, the slow life blog Jorg & Olif and geek haven Dork Adore. She continues to write for Dork Adore, reviewing gadgets and discussing the latest web technology.

Emma started writing for Aigua Media in 2009, for Shoewawa, and is now editor of both The Bag Lady and Dollymix.

She has previously guest blogged for sites like Domestic Sluttery, Folksy, Groupon, Penny Golightly, Qype (as a Qype VIP) and Tempero. She has also been involved in the social media, web content and blog of Reading University Students' Union. Alongside this, she's worked on social media campaigns for Macleans, several fashion brands and a number of start ups.

Emma was one of the finalists in the Remote Workers 2010 awards.
